National Council of State Tourism Directors Spring Forum
Held over one-and-a-half days and two nights, the National Council of State Tourism Directors Spring Forum attracts approximately 35 - 40 state tourism directors from across the country to discuss state specific issues, meet with their colleagues on council related matters, and engage U.S. Travel Association leadership in dialogue about current and upcoming programs.

Board of Directors Meetings

Spring and Winter Board of Directors Meetings:
The Board of Director meetings are one and one- half day meetings to discuss most recent happenings at U.S. Travel, present and vote on changes taking place within and around the U.S. Travel Association. Board meetings are closed. 
 
Summer Board of Directors Meeting:
This unique, once-a-year, summer event invites the entire family of the Board Member to attend an elite event for 4 days. The Board meetings are closed and are in session for 3 hours on Thursday and Friday mornings this year. Meanwhile, families are whisked away on fun activity outings. The balance of the four day period is spent networking with Board of Directors, U.S. Travel Staff and select Sponsors. Sponsors are invited to attend the entire event with the exception of the business meetings, no matter which sponsorship they select. This event offers unmatched access to the industry's greatest leaders in a fun-filled, relaxed, atmosphere to build lasting business relationship with our Board of Directors. The Board of Directors for U. S. Travel consists of senior executives including State Executive Directors, Senior VP's of Marketing, COO's and CEO's—all top leaders of the travel industry.

Marketing Outlook Forum

Marketing Outlook Forum (MOF) attracts nearly 500 travel industry representatives to hear the finest economists, analysts, marketers, and demographics experts discuss current and future trends/issues affecting the travel and tourism industry.  Approximately 40% of the attendees are from destination marketing organizations.  The other attendees are representative of U.S. Travel's membership—high-level marketing, sales and research executives from major companies in a broad array of travel industry segments.  Marketing Outlook Forum will focus on quantitative and analytical information for use in your strategic marketing plans.
